Increased demand and staffing requirements are prompting changes to the schedule at the Outdoor and Indoor City pools.
Both facilities are currently recruiting lifeguards, but in the interim the City will temporarily suspend some of the swim times and shift resources to the peak demand times, effective this Sunday August 1st.
The Bioclean Aquatic Centre will suspend Early Bird swim 6-8 a.m. and Family swim, 10-noon on Sundays.
The Outdoor pool will change the Seniors swim time to noon-1 p.m. and suspend Lane swim noon-1 p.m. and 8-9 p.m.
Online bookings can still be done on the City’s website.
