Battlefords RCMP investigating after shots fired at vehicle with people in it

The Battlefords RCMP say they’re looking for suspects after shots were fired at a vehicle that had people in it.

On August 21st, around 4 AM, the RCMP was called after someone shot at the people in the car, which was near a home on the 1000 block of 110th Street. While no one was shot directly, three people sustained minor injuries from the windshield glass shattering on them.

A suspect, an unidentified man, was seen in the area of the time wearing a red sweater and dark pants. While seven people were detained from a home in the area, they were later released without charges.

The investigation is ongoing,  and anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
