Lloydminster RCMP has executed a search warrant at a local residence and recovered several stolen guns and explosives.
On Saturday, February 12th, the Crime Reduction Unit with Lloydminster RCMP conducted a search in the 34 hundred block of 62 Avenue, following leads in a firearms-related investigation. The search of the residence revealed several pipe bombs in addition to six firearms. The RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit attended the scene and safely disposed of the explosive devices. The investigation is ongoing.
32-year-old, Dylan Wilson, of Lloydminster has been charged with a total of 38 offences, including five counts of Possession of an Explosive Device, and 21 firearms related offences, including Possession of Stolen Firearms and four counts of Identity Fraud.
