College Park School opening has been delayed

Lloydminster Public School Division has announced that College Park school will not open on time. Due to labour shortages, construction on the school has taken longer than expected, and will push the opening back to late October. During the closure, students from the new school will be split based on grades between Martin Brown School, Barr Colony School, and Bishop Lloyd school.
The LPSD is holding a parent information night on Thursday at 7 PM, at the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School. The board says they will present their plans for alternate classrooms and transportation, and answer any questions parents have at the information session.
