Lloydminster RCMP have recovered a large quantity of stolen property recently.
The Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section, in conjunction with the Crime Reduction Unit and General Duty members, conducted three search warrants over the past week. The first was on a rural property on the outskirts of Lloydminster, the second was in the 45 hundred block of 45 Avenue, and the third was in the 4500 block of 29 Street.
Many items were recovered with an estimated dollar value of $100,000, including a side by side, truck, storage trailer, TV’s, jewelry, electronics, power tools, sports equipment and a stamp collection. A total of 125 charges have been laid against the following Lloydminster residents:
– 38-year-old, Clinton James, has been charged with Possession for the purpose of trafficking;
–  35-year-old, Janet Minty, has been charged with Possession of property obtained by crime, Unauthorized possession of a firearm, and Unsafe storage of a firearm;
– 26-year-old, Jared Riedel, , has been charged with three counts of Unauthorized possession of a firearm, two counts of Possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of Possession of a controlled substance, and Unsafe storage of a firearm;
– 26-year-old, Bradley Trivett, has been charged with Trafficking methamphetamine;
– 31-year-old, Jenna Ward, has been charged with three counts of Unauthorized possession of a firearm, two counts of Possession of a controlled substance, Possession of property obtained by crime, and Unsafe storage of a firearm;
– 27-year-old, Daniel Pincombe, has been charged with 51 counts of Possession of property obtained by crime;
– 32-year-old, Chelsea Willard, has been charged with 51 counts of Possession of property obtained by crime, and one count of Fail to comply with probation.
All individuals charged will appear in Saskatchewan Provincial court on March 10th.Â
“The investigations into the recovered stolen property were time consuming and extensive. The result of 125 charges being laid is an extremely positive step towards the reduction of property crime in Lloydminster and the focus will continue on those who are committing these types of crimes,” says RCMP Constable, Grant Kirzinger.
Although some of the recovered property has been identified, police still have several items which are believed to have been stolen. If the property is identified, further charges could be laid.
