Brown Munro new CEO at LRHF

With some 20 years in the nursing profession, prior to taking on the fundraising mantle, Stephanie Brown Munro has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation.

The Foundation noted the role Munro has played in their major fundraisers like Lloydminster’s Gift to Health Digital Stream, as well as writing successful grants and proposals for healthcare improvements in our region.

In making the announcement, LRHF chair Jeff Kerr expressed the board’s delight that Munro had accepted the leadership role.

“Stephanie brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that makes us fully confident of her assuming this role with the Foundation. She is very passionate about our community, and we look forward to Stephanie’s leadership in working with our donors and stakeholders to continue the Foundation’s work to enhance healthcare in our community.”

Munro joined the Foundation in May 2018 as the Fund Development Officer. She is presently finishing her Certified Fund Raising Executive designation from CFRE International and is looking forward to building on the work of her predecessor Malcolm Radke.

“I am honoured to be given the opportunity to lead such an amazing organization that I am truly passionate about. Malcolm has been an excellent mentor, I hope to continue to build on that success and wish him the best in his future endeavours. I am excited to work alongside such a committed and passionate board of directors and staff, as we strive to enhance healthcare in our region together. ”

Munro takes on the new role effective February 22nd.
