Woman arrested in domestic dispute

Bonnyville RCMP have arrested a woman for assault with a weapon.

On the night of Saturday, March 19th, police reported to a call of a domestic dispute in Glendon. A 22-year-old man had been locked out of the house and when he did get the door open the 45-year-old female inside the residence struck him in the head with a large pipe.

The woman was arrested and a search incidental to the arrest revealed drug paraphernalia and a substance believed to be methamphetamine.

She was transported to the Bonnyville RCMP Detachment where she was released by a Justice of the Peace, and the man was transported to the Bonnyville Hospital for medical attention.
