Lloydminster city council has awarded the 2023-2025 water and sewer maintenance – standing offer agreement contract to Rusway Construction in the amount of $1,147,832.39.
Council noted at Monday’s sitting that the contractor has worked on several city projects in the past and has in-depth knowledge of the city’s infrastructure.
The request for proposal period closed on Oct. 7. Council documents show that Rusway Construction got the highest score of the three bids with the score being weighted towards the lowest cost of supplying the service.
The current water and sewer maintenance contract will expire on Dec. 31.
