RCMP seek teen suspect in robbery

Over the weekend, Lloydminster RCMP responded to a report of a theft.

A young man entered the staff room of a business in the 8100 block of 45 Street on April 9th and took a woman’s purse. The owner tried to retrieve her purse from the suspect but was struck by the suspect’s vehicle as he was fleeing. She received only minor injuries.

The suspect is described to be in his late teens, clean shaven, approximately 5’6″, with a slim build, short brown hair, and was seen wearing a red “Wutang” t-shirt, dark pants, and a red flat-brim baseball cap, with a white “Ecko” rhino logo.

The suspect vehicle is described as a older Mazda car, either light tan or silver in colour, and the vehicle had a female passenger inside at the time of the incident.
