Wainwright man arrested after RCMP conduct drug search

Wainwright RCMP executed its third drug search warrant of 2023 and found suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl at a home in Wainwright.

The search was conducted on April 6 and saw one man arrested as a result of the ongoing investigation. Approximately 33 grams of suspected methamphetamine and fentanyl were found in the search alongside packaging consistent with drug trafficking, drug scales, hypodermic needles, and a firearm with ammunition.

Jeff Hall, a resident of Wainwright, was arrested at the residence and has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking of a controlled substance, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and illegal possession of government documents among others.

A judicial interim release hearing was conducted and Hall was released from custody on $1000 cash bail and will be appearing in Alberta Court of Justice in Wainwright on April 20, 2023.

Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
