Man charged in stabbing near North Battleford

Battlefords RCMP have made one arrest following at stabbing on Saulteaux First Nation.
On Friday, April 22nd, at 10 p.m., RCMP received the report regarding the stabbing and upon arrival to the scene, found an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds to the upper body.
The male was promptly transported to Battlefords Union Hospital, and later to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, where he remains in stable condition.
Through the course of the investigation, a suspect was identified and arrested the same night, without issue. A 20-year-old male faces charges of Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace.
He is set to make his first appearance in court Monday, April 25th, in Battlefords Provincial Court Building.
