A lot of things are closed for the stat holiday on Monday, but Weaver Heritage Park will be fully open as recreation planners want you to come celebrate the stories of the Midwest region.
The fun begins with pancake breakfast from 8:30 to 10 a.m., followed by a list of family friendly activities.
Events include tours of Rendell House, block party and carnival games, candle making, tractor display, classic car displays, crafts, food vendors, hands-on-heritage old fashioned activities and heritage demonstrations, horse drawn wagon rides, petting zoo, rock climbing wall and others.
Also, the Hot Doggers shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and the antique tractor parade at 2 p.m.
The Prairie Dogs will provide live music at the event, which runs until 3 p.m.
