The Lloydminster Step n’ Stride effort tallied an $8,025 contribution to the grand Alberta total of $277,036.70, with donations still coming in online.
The annual event was run off across the province over the past weekend with six local teams being registered.
Across Canada, Parkinson disease and Parkinson Plus Syndromes affect more than one in 500 people and over 10,000 Albertans.
Organizers are expressing their gratitude to all those who stepped up in the striding effort.Â
