A man has been taken to the hospital after an accident on highway 16. Monday night, Lloydminster RCMP were called to an accident at the intersection of highway 16 and 47th avenue. A white SUV travelling westbound on the highway struck a soutbound white truck as it attempted to cross the intersection. The driver of the truck that was struck sustained minor injuries in the accident. The accident is under investigation, but alcohol is not considered to be a factor.
