Students in Jack Kemp School got to meet one of their favourite mascots yesterday. Bob the Cat paid a visit to the school to hand out copies of a new book designed to promote first grade literacy. The book is the result of a partnership between the Lloydminster Bobcats, the Lloydminster Public School District, and M&M Meat Shops, and it talks about Bob the Cat and his antics at games. Bob the Cat will be visiting more schools today, in order to give a new book to every first grader in Lloydminster. If anyone would like a spare copy of the book, they can be found at the local M&M Meat Shop.
