Eight candidates have been officially named for the Feb. 13 Lloydminster Council single-seat by-election.
The returning officer is confirming:

- Darrell Dunn
- Ben Harrison
- David Lopez
- Corey McKee
- Hamid Rahmanian
- Fred Sirett
Residents may conduct their civic duty at the in-person advanced voting on
Saturday, Feb. 3, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Council Chambers, City Hall (4420 50 Avenue)
On election day, Tuesday, Feb. 13, in-person voting will take place from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m., also at Council Chambers, City Hall.
The vacant council seat occurred following the exit of Aaron Buckingham who had to resign to take on the new role of fire chief.
