The ongoing downtown business conversation will look to speak with one voice if it can build consensus at its next meeting on Mar. 7.
Organizers held initial conversations last year to talk about security concerns, and coordinator Randy Glynn says, “We realized the potential impact of having a unified voice for downtown businesses and property owners when engaging with the city. A collective effort could significantly influence how we address and resolve various issues.”
Along with this initiative will be the creation of a group to communicate concerns to the city, adds Glynn.
The Mar. 7 meeting will take place at the downtown Synergy building, 4907-50 Street in the lecture theatre in the basement from 2 p.m.
