The annual TeleMiracle fundraiser has raised $6,112,717 as of 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.
The Kinsmen Foundation charity which supports people with medical expenses dates back to 1977 and this year’s effort in Regina was in tribute to long-standing supporter and host Bob McGrath.
Seventy-five Saskatchewan talents graced the showpiece during the weekend telethon with sponsors Nutrien donating $100,000 to match donations raised by the performers.
Next year’s TeleMiracle 49 will be held in Saskatoon from March 1-2.
