Police seek Jesse Eric Dillon who is unlawfully at large

UPDATE: A tip from the public is being credited with the arrest of Jesse Eric Dillon by the the Meadow Lake Crime Reduction Team.

Lloydminster RCMP are seeking 32-year-old Jesse Eric Dillon who they report is unlawfully at large and have issued a warrant for his arrest to face his charges of assault with a weapon in Saskatoon. 

On May 16 at about 5:45 p.m., Lloydminster RCMP were alerted, by the Saskatchewan Provincial Sheriffs that Dillon had inadvertently been released from the court in Lloydminster where Dillon had been remanded into custody by a court order. 

Police describe Dillon as a known violent offender, having charges of robbery and several firearm-related offences before the courts. 

Dillon is described as: 

• Light complexion 
• Six feet tall 
• 220 pounds 
• Black hair and brown eyes 

Dillon has ties to Onion Lake and may be in the area. Alberta RCMP are asking for public assistance in locating Dillon, to arrest him.
