Alberta health minister Adrianna LaGrange was in Lloydminster on Tuesday, June 25 for meetings with municipal leaders, Saskatchewan counterparts, and MLAs.
In a post on social media site X, LaGrange says they discussed “important health care issues.”
Pictured with LaGrange are Saskatchewan health minister Everett Hindley, mental health and addictions, seniors and rural and remote health minister, Tim McLeod, Lloydminster MLA Colleen Young, MLA Garth Rowswell, mayor Gerald Aalbers and city councillors Michael Diachuk, Lorelee Marin, Jonathan Torresan and David Lopez.
LaGrange notes in her social media post that “Lloydminster’s unique position as a bi-provincial city presents great opportunities and challenges and both governments agreed that greater coordination and cooperation is needed to maximize patients getting the health care, where and when they need it.”
