With only 20 hoodies available, this year’s St. Walburg Blueberry Festival has a collector’s item for online auction to add to the hype of the annual festivity.
The fourth Saturday in August is always circled for the added summer fun in the community made famous for the likes of Count Berthold von Imhoff whose artwork is housed in a museum near the town.
Friday, August 23 will see the Parish Centre rocking out to Owen Wourms and family band along with a beef supper.
On Saturday, August 24, the Wild Blueberry Fest serves up a pancake breakfast in front of the Parish Church from 8 a.m. The action goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with over 130 vendors in the farmers’ market, food trucks, Kidszone, live music on the main stage, blacksmithing, and other demonstrations, beer gardens, and of course blueberries.
The Car Show and Shine has a new location at the Chuckwagon monument on the north end of town.
Returning to the limited edition hoodies, the online auction closes on Aug. 10.
