Lloydminster’s Strilchuk waterskies for Canada

Lloydminster’s Max Strilchuk who trains with the Saskatoon Water Ski Club will represent the Maple Leaf at the 2024 IWWF Pan American Waterski Championships in Bogota, Columbia from Oct. 8-12. 

He will compete in the Slalom, Trick and Jump events. With seven years of competitive skiing on his resumé, the border city product has personal bests of 4@13m in Slalom, 1,750 points in Trick, and 45.7m in Jump. 

Max says he is thrilled to represent Canada at the championships in Colombia and is eager to compete and explore the beautiful surroundings. 

The water-skier will aim to jump 48 metres, slalom 12 metres, and hit 2,000 points in Trick.
