A former Bonnyville school teacher facing charges for inappropriate contact with a child is now on more charges in Wainwright court.
Following the original arrest of Janelle Arnold, Bonnyville RCMP discovered that Janelle had contacted two youths from New Zealand via social media. Janelle then sent money and gifts to the youths, according to police.
Bonnyville RCMP have charged Janelle Arnold, a 35-year-old resident of Bonnyville, with failure to comply with a release order.
The suspect was in Wainwright court on Nov. 7 to answer charges of invitation to sexual touching and child luring.
Janelle Arnold has been remanded and is to return on Dec. 5, 2024, to the Alberta Court of Justice in Wainwright.
