Bobcat McAlister to captain Team Canada West

Lloydminster product Teague McAllister will captain Team Canada West when it begins its defense of the World Junior A Challenge in Camrose from December 9-15.

Born in Kitscoty, the five foot eleven inch, 181-pound forward was called to the camp along with Lloydminster Bobcat teammate Jack Birch.

Canada West will defend its gold medal in the tournament’s second game on Dec. 9 against Sweden at 7:30 p.m.

The opening game features Canada East vs the USA at 3:00 pm.
