Lloydminster is home to some very talented athletes.
On Monday, June 6, Lloydminster Comprehensive High School held their annual Athletics Awards banquet to celebrate some of those individuals.
Each team honours its outstanding members by awarding prizes to top scorers, most improved, most valuable players, rookies of the year, among others.
Perhaps, the most prestigious prize for both Male and Female Athlete of the Year were awarded to Kirk Haan and Soleil Gow, respectively. Honourable mentions went out to Layne Guest and Bryer Kay.
