The competition for Tim McMillan’s seat in the Legislative Assembly has begun. Former president of the Saskatchewan Party’s constituency association James Thorsteinson has officially declared that he is running for the Saskatchewan Party’s nomination in the upcoming Lloydminster by-election. Thorsteinson held the position of president of the constituency association for 7 years, and currently serves on the party’s board of directors at the provincial level. The nomination vote will take place October 18th at 2 PM in the Wild Rose Pavilion.
