Kitscoty RCMP have arrested three people, and a justice of the peace has placed them on remand after an industrial break and enter.
On April 10 at 5:27 a.m., Kitscoty RCMP responded to a industrial break and enter on Range Road 14 near Kitscoty.
Surveillance showed three suspects stealing a Ford F150 in the yard. The suspects caused over $5,000 in damage to equipment during the theft.
At 1:30 p.m., ALERT found the trio in a Dodge truck attempting to detach a trailer both reported stolen out of Vermillion.
When an attempt was made to stop the vehicle, the suspects drove off.
Later, RCMP spotted the vehicle in Saskatchewan. When police attempted to stop the vehicle it went into a ditch and the occupants ran off.
RCMP with the help of a police dog were able to locate and arrest all three suspects.
Baily Devon Paranteau is charged with:
- Break & Entering
- Three counts of mischief over $5,000
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000
- Theft of a truck
- Theft Over $5,000
- Flight from a peace officer
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
Allea Geraldine Lameman is charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
The third suspect is a female youth who has been charged with eight offences.
The trio was remanded into custody.
They are to return to the Alberta Court of Justice in Lloydminster on April 14.
