A Lloydminster resident is facing impaired driving charges in Vermilion.
On April 3, Vermilion RCMP received a complaint of an intoxicated and unwanted man, who had arrived at a home in a Dodge Caravan and was likely to continue driving.
Police went to the house and found the man.
Emile Therien, a 46-year-old resident of Lloydminster, SK, has been charged with impaired operation of a conveyance, over .08, and driving while unauthorized under the Traffic Safety Act.
Therien was released from custody and is due in the Alberta Court of Justice in Vermilion on July 21.
