A woman is before the Lloydminster court to answer charges related to drug trafficking.
On July 4, 2025, after checking tips received from Crime Stoppers, members of the Lloydminster RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) carried out a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a property in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Officers seized:
- 10 grams of methamphetamine
- 84 grams of cocaine
- Small amounts of psilocybin and MDMA
- Cannabis
- 70 cartons of unstamped tobacco
- A set of brass knuckles
Amanda Pirnak-Hladchuk, 39 years of Lloydminster, was arrested and charged with:
- Three counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a prohibited weapon
- Possession of Cannabis with intention to sell or distribute
- Possession of unstamped tobacco products for the purpose of sale
Amanda Pirnak-Hladchuk was released on conditions and is to return to Lloydminster Provincial Court on Sept. 15.
“This warrant is part of our continued commitment to targeting drug trafficking and associated criminal activity in our community,” said Cst Jason DeCoste of the Lloydminster RCMP CRU. “The seizure of these dangerous substances helps reduce the threat to public safety.”
