North Battleford man sentenced to four years

Randall Christopher Nicotine has been sentenced to four years in prison.

Nicotine was convicted of four counts of assault, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, resisting arrest, and two counts of breaching probation.

Nicotine also admitted that several of the offences he was guilty of were committed for the benefit of a criminal organization, which was an aggravating factor in his sentencing. His arrest was captured by dashboard camera footage in the city on April 4, 2016, which led to online attention to the arrest.

He has served six months of the sentence so far, with nine months of credit.

The police thanked the public for their assistance in the capture of Nicotine.
