Meadow Lake landlord charged with sexual assault

The Meadow Lake RCMP have charged a landlord with sexual assault.

The investigation into the man began in October of 2016, after the police received a complaint from a victim that contained allegations they were sexually assaulted by their landlord in Meadow Lake. Another victim and former tenant came forward shortly after the first complaint with a second allegation.

On December 5, Roger Epp, a 63 year old resident of Meadow Lake, was arrested and charged with the following offences.

-Two counts of communicating for the purpose of obtaining sexual services.

-One count of sexual assault.

One of the charges against Mr. Epp dates back to an incident in November of 2011, the other charges are from a recent incident in October of this year.

Epp was released from custody and will appear in Meadow Lake Provincial Court on January 16, 2017.

Police indicated that they had learned through their investigation that there may be more victims.
