More RCMP officers hired for Alberta’s front lines

More RCMP officers will be on the front lines in Alberta with the province investing 227 million dollars this year, with 5.9 million for 40 more officers. There are more than 1,500 officers currently in Alberta communities served by the PPSA. The RCMP has 112 detachments across the province, and is currently determining where the new officers are needed most.
