The annual Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation’s fundraising gala is set to go at the Stockade Centre this evening. This year’s theme is Fire and Ice, with a cool jazz band greeting attendees as they enter, with the mood changing throughout the evening to more fiery music. The gala is sold out, with over 600 guests expected, and a goal of raising $500,000. LRHF CEO Wendy Plandowski says that there is currently a 44-bed shortage in the city, and that some of the money raised will be put toward solving that problem. Doors open at 5:30.
