***The Parkinson Association of Alberta has been and continues to be, the only Alberta based charitable organization dedicated to improving the wellbeing and day-to-day lives of Albertans living with and affected by Parkinson disease and Parkinson’s Plus Syndromes.

We are Albertans working for Albertans (and everywhere that people need support). We provide no cost support services, education and advocacy, as well as raising funds for research which drives our Champions of Hope Program.

We receive no consistent financial support from the government for the services we provide but rely on our fundraising initiatives and generosity of donors and sponsors.

The Parkinson Association of Alberta provides one on one and family support in person, over the phone and at support groups, currently through Zoom. These are a confidential and a safe place to ask questions, talk about stresses and concerns, establish goals and live life to the fullest. ***
