CrossCanadaJax – BOOK TOUR FOR A CURE

Jackson Charron-Okerlund AKA CrossCanadaJax who ran across Canada last year raising money for cancer research is now going on a book tour and will be stopping in Lloydminster June 14th at Bud Miller Park from 12PM – 8PM.
“After completing my journey across Canada, I always said “My marathon is over, but my fight for a cure is not.” That is why I asked Darien Rae a fellow cancer research advocate to help me illustrate a novel based on my journey. After 6 months of hard work, we have finally completed the story. From May 1, 2024 – June 15, 2024 – I will be embarking on a 45 day journey across Canada going to 40 different towns and cities trying to sell as many copies of my book as possible & raise as much awareness as possible. It hits you deep when you hear first hand from cancer survivors that thanks to the advancements in treatments & research they are alive today.  Hearing those stories fuels the flames inside of me  to put all of my energy and effort into this important cause. 10$ from every book will be pledged and donated to the Terry Fox Foundation to support the ongoing fight to cure cancer.
