Chrissy Davison elected to LPSD school board

Chrissy Davison has won the Lloydminster School Board by-election.

Davison won a seat on the board with 128 votes, beating her next closest challenger, Walter Hardy, by 44 votes. In total, 260 votes were cast.

Davison will hold the seat until October 2016, when the next general election for the school board will be called. The seat was vacated by Colleen Young on January 28, when she chose to focus on her work in the Legislative Assembly.
