Lloydminster’s Streetscapes Committee has launched the “Downtown Win Your Wish” contest. The draw is aimed at boosting shopping in the downtown core in the leadup to Christmas. All you have to do to enter is to take a picture of something you’d like to purchase from a business downtown, post it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #DowntownWinYourWish, and your name will be entered into a draw to win $100 to be put towards the item. The Chamber of Commerce Assistant Executive Director, Serena Sjodin, says the response has been positive. Draws will take place every Monday in the lead-up to Christmas.
