Jack Kemp’s students will be getting gifts in honour of Literacy Day. Mayor Rob Saunders proclaimed the day at City Council, and members of the Lloydminster Learning Council Association were on hand to witness the declaration. To celebrate, Literacy Co-ordinator Tamara Wunder says the Learning Council is distributing activity sheets and bookmarks to students. Wunder also encourages parents to reinforce literacy beyond the classroom.
