Vegreville Man Pulls Out Machete In Bar Brawl

One man is in jail, and another has been injured, after an armed robbery in Vegreville. Late Wednesday night, RCMP were called to a pub where a man had brandished a pistol and machete while trying to rob three pubgoers. One of the patrons tried to fight the man, and was seriously injured. The theif fled, but was later identified and arrested. The 20-year-old faces charges of robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
