Update: Total of 28 Charges Laid Against Man Arrested in Lloydminster

A man from North Battleford is now facing 28 charges in relation to 14 files.
Police say the investigations began on September 25 when a break and enter occurred at a local business in the 4200 block of 70 Avenue. During this investigation police learned that a stolen truck was used to break into the business. On September 27 there was a report of an attempt break and enter in the 5700 block of 43 Street and police say a stolen vehicle was used during this offence. The Lloydminster RCMP tried to arrest the individuals on scene however police say they fled in the stolen truck. On September 28 the Lloydminster RCMP located the individual returning to Lloydminster and he was arrested. 
Once in custody the Lloydminster RCMP began a joint investigation with North Battleford RCMP and Battleford Rural RCMP. A total of 28 charges were laid between the three jurisdictions.
Vince Harper has been charged by the Lloydminster RCMP with two break and enters, two counts of weapons trafficking and two counts of flight from police among other charges. He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Alberta provincial court November 7  and in Saskatchewan provincial court on November 8.
