‘Coldest Night Of The Year’ Hits Lloydminster

The Coldest Night of the Year is set to go for Saturday. The annual fundraiser is in its 3rd year in Lloydminster, as part of a cross-country event to raise money to combat homelessness. National organizer Mika Takamaki says the event has grown by leaps and bounds over the years, and now includes 38 cities across Canada. The local campaign has already exceeded their fundraising goal of $25,000, but is still looking for walkers and donors. To sign up to walk, or to donate to participating teams, go to ColdestNightOfTheYear.org.
