City Promotes ‘Freedom To Read Week’

The Lloydminster Public Library is promoting ‘Freedom to Read Week’. The week has been declared by Mayor Rob Saunders, as a time to encourage Lloydminster residents to think about intellectual freedom. Lloydminster Reference Librarian Michele Duczek says that in an age of web-based knowledge the library remains a good resource for verified information. Duczek also says that the library will have a display throughout the week, showing the freedoms and benefits of living in Canada.
