Longtime Oilers Play-By-Play duo Jack Michaels and Bob Stauffer are bringing their veteran knowledge to the Lloydminster Bobcats’ Evening of Champions fundraiser.
Business Manager of the Lloydminster Bobcats Kat Pollard says The Hanson brothers, Chris Chelios and Bob Mckenzie have spoken in the past as well, and that this not only attracts people to the event but also has an effect on players.
“To hear those voices and to hear those stories that I’m sure Bob Stauffer and Jack Michaels have about the hockey industry, [Bobcat Players] can take that and maybe apply some of those thoughts to their games.”
Pollard adds that The Evening of Champions is very important as it helps support many different parts of playing and team life.
“It all goes towards hockey operations which is equipment for the players, to with help with billeting, to help with game day operations and pretty much to keep the team running.”
