The new Saskatchewan hospital in North Battleford gains some more support with a donation of $150,000.
According to the Saskatchewan health Authority, Great-West Life, London Life and Canada Life, will be recognized for their donation with a fitness room in the facility being named the Canada Life Fitness Room. The insurance providers donated $3 million in support to 246 health-focused initiatives and projects across Canada in 2017.
The New Beginnings campaign is aiming to raise $8 million for medical equipment and furnishings for the new Saskatchewan Hospital. The campaign has almost reached their goal with $250,000 left to raise.
The Saskatchewan Hospital is the only psychiatric rehabilitation treatment facility in the province and looks to open the new facility in November.Facility Tours are available to the public until November .2.
