Lloydminster property tax assessments in the mail

Lloydminster residents should expect their property taxes coming in the mail.

In a release Tuesday morning, the City says that the notices have been shipped via Canada Post last Friday. Once someone gets their property tax notice, they can make payment to the city with online banking or in person with debit, cheque or cash. After hours tax cheques can be dropped in the city mail slot with tax roll number included.

Payments made after June 30th, 2019 will be late, and interest will be five per cent on arrears and one per cent on current year’s taxes.

People who don’t get a property tax notice by June 3rd, 2019 are urged to contact the city as soon as possible using their tax-related email or calling 780-875-6184 ext 2124.
