RCMP locate wanted woman in death of Laverdiere

RCMP has arrested Nikita Sandra Cook who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in the death of Tiki Laverdiere.

Mounties say Cook was arrested without incident by Edmonton Police Service on August 15. She will make her first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court on August 19.

The investigation is still underway by the direction of RCMP Major Crimes Unit North.
