Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the Border City and surrounding areas. They say hazardous winter conditions are expected with snowfall beginning to fall early Saturday morning with a total of 10 to 20 centimetres to fall by the end of the day.
Strong winds of 70 to 80 km/h are also being forecasted which will result in poor driving conditions with the added falling snow. Prepare for quickly changing weather and poor visibility while on the roads.
Environment Canada says conditions should improve by early Sunday morning.
