County of Vermilion River extends recreation grant deadlines

The County of Vermilion River has extended the deadline to their recreation and community enhancement grants. Deadlines for the Programs & Events and New Initiatives applications are now due on June 5.

Funding is available for organizations, agricultural societies, recreation societies and hall boards within the county. Both streams offer a total of $10,000 which will be spread across successful applicants.

Organizations applying must provide a year end report for the 2019 funds received from the previous year. Organizations in the Dewberry, Kitscoty, Marwayne, Paradise Valley and Vermilion are able to apply for funding. Organizations and facilities in the City of Lloydminster are not eligible to apply for the New Initiatives grant.
