Another COVID-19 recovery in the County of Vermilion River

One more person has recovered from COVID-19 in the County of Vermilion River following the new case reported on Sunday. The total in the county is now one active and two recovered.

In the surrounding areas, AHS is reporting no changes as the MD of Wainwright has one recovery as does Lloydminster.

The province is now recording more recoveries at 2,942 cases than active cases at 2,790. The province also saw 70 new cases and nine deaths. Eight were in the Calgary zone and one in the City of Brooks. There have now been 104 deaths in Alberta.

There has been a total of 5,836 cases of COVID-19 in Alberta with 89 of them in the Central zone.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Alberta Health has administered and completed over 164,000 tests.
