Two Edmonton women busted for drug possession after being caught speeding

Two Edmonton women face drug charges after being caught by Lloydminster RCMP. On Tuesday, the RCMP stopped a car for speeding on highway 16. While searching the car, the police found 23 grams of marijuana. Two women from Edmonton, aged 25 and 34, were charged with drug possession, and will appear in Alberta Provincial Court in October. Lloydminster RCMP Constable Grant Kirzinger said that the RCMP are paying special attention to that area of town because of the removal of traffic lights, and that the drug seizure was a result of good police work.
